Get Ready for the launch of Our New Love France 7-Day Prayer Guide for Kids!

The wait is over—the Para-Games in Paris are kicking off tonight! 🎉 As the world comes together to celebrate the incredible achievements of these athletes, we’re thrilled to launch something special for families: our brand-new 7-Day Children’s Prayer Guide!

But first, let’s talk about the Para-Games! Did you know that over 4,400 athletes from more than 160 countries are competing in these games? That’s 4,400 stories of courage, resilience, and determination. These athletes are not just competing for medals; they are living testimonies of overcoming adversity through hard work and, for many, a deep faith in God.

The Games are a powerful reminder that, as Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Watching these athletes push beyond their limits is not only inspiring but also a wonderful opportunity to teach our children about perseverance, faith, and the power of prayer.

Introducing the 7-Day Children’s Prayer Guide

In the spirit of the Para’s, we’re excited to introduce our 7-Day Children’s Prayer Guide: Running the Race! This guide is designed to engage your kids in daily prayer while helping them grow in their faith. It’s packed with fun activities, daily Bible verses, and even a catchy theme song that your kids will love singing!

Each day of the guide covers a unique theme, like “Start Strong with God’s Word”. or “Finish Strong with God’s Strength.” We’ve included prayer pointers to help your children pray for athletes, France, and even themselves as they learn to rely on God in their own “race” of life.

Here’s how you can use it:

  1. Start Your Day Together: Each morning, gather as a family and read the day’s theme and Bible verse. Discuss what it means and how it applies to your lives.
  2. Put It Into Practice: The guide includes daily action points—simple tasks that your children can do to live out their faith.
  3. Sing the Theme Song: We’ve included a special “Running the Race” theme song. Encourage your kids to sing it each day to reinforce the message.
  4. Pray as a Family: Use the prayer pointers to pray together for the Paralympic athletes, the nation of France, and your own family’s journey of faith.
  5. Gift your prayers! Click the red button each day to be part of a worldwide gift of a million prayers for France this Summer. We are currently up to 890,000 prayers from 110 countries!

Why It’s Important

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s easy to forget the power of prayer. Our guide is a gentle reminder that prayer is our direct line to God, especially in times of challenge.

Just like the Paralympic athletes, who face enormous physical challenges, we all have our own races to run. The good news is that we don’t have to run alone - Jesus is with us every step of the way.

As Hebrews 12:1 encourages us, “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” This guide is more than just a daily devotion; it’s an invitation to your kids to experience the joy and power of running their race with God’s help.

Let’s Get Started!

These Games are the perfect backdrop for launching this guide. As you cheer on the athletes, take time each day to use the prayer guide with your children. We’re confident it will be a blessing to your family.

Remember there’s also an adult prayer guide running through to the end of the Para Games - HERE!

You can read and download the 7 day children’s guide right HERE.

The children’s guide is not dated so it can be used as and when it fits, during the games or after! Both guides are available in 33 languages online and 10 as pdf downloads.

Let’s run the race together, with our eyes on Jesus!

Do share this with your friends and families!

Every Blessing,
