The Games have begun in Paris. Whilst there was much spectacle, there was also controversy and criticism about sets in the opening ceremony that were deeply insulting to Christians. This is not surprising in a country where a majority of the population ignore the existence of God. Words of disapproval are all over social media. The Christian Church has undoubtedly made its voice heard by the organizers.
There are huge numbers of workers on the streets of the capital and other cities handing out multi-language tracts and 200,000 bibles in French and English, praying for healings and worshipping and declaring His great and glorious name over the nation of France. (Mal 1:11)
We would eagerly ask you to pray with many believers around the world for healing of this land (2 Chron 7:14) and a fresh awakening (Hab 2:14) across France.
IPC is on the ground in Paris interacting with many of the projects within the Ensemble 2024 framework, supporting, encouraging and mobilising prayer at this significant time for France – and we really need your help, please.

It runs from 8am til midnight each day (GMT+2). Many colours of worship and prayer, covering France, the Games, the 500+ projects and outreaches taking place.
